Everyday Eye.

I love when you find a look that you want to wear everyday, this has been mine. I love the comfort of knowing something takes little time, but looks great. This is that look for me.

I really need to learn how to take better pictures, I look completely out of it. Any advice? My eyebrows are also pretty awful.

Here are the products I used. I figured I would waste your time with crappy swatch photos, but I'll include links (I'm good like that) :)

Armani Eyes to Kill Silk Shadow in 15 all over lid link (I absolutely love this shadow)
Chanel Taupe Gris in the crease link
MAC Vanilla Pigment in the inner corner (I can't seem to find a decent swatch of this online)
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline as eyeliner link
Combination of Buxom Lash and Benefit Bad Gal Lash

Now I have oily lids and this combo last forever. I honestly want about 6 more of the Armani shadows. They are ridiculously pigmented as well. Its easy to say L-O-V-E.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, I know I will. Maybe I'll embrace my inner child and run through some crisps leaves.

All used up - Part Uno

Recently I've noticed how many random beauty products I've accumulated. This has led me to believe a binge is in order, which mean drum roll please ... no more beauty buying in October! I've been contemplating doing this but haven't had the gut to do so until the fabulous Sandra mentioned in her newest video that she was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Not only am I running out of space, I've forgotten about products I own. Yes using up products is part of it, but discovering product I own is actually my hope (though saving money can't hurt:) ). It makes me sad to think of all the great things I've forgotten. Anyway I ramble.
I've been trying to use up some products and here are some I've used up in the last couple of weeks and my opinions on them.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum
Let me say, I think I love this stuff. It really great way for vitamin C to get into your skin. Normally my oily skin freaks at the thought of a serum below my moisturizer, but my skin seemed to love it, though I not entirely sure it was this product they love, thus the think. I'm going to test the waters without it this month and see what happens.
Repurchase? Time will tell.

Boots Sensitive Gentle Eye Make-up Removal Lotion
Let me start by saying the name is verymisconceiving. A lotion this is not. More of an oily, watery pain. I was so happy to finish this off. I clearly brought this into the shower (hence the peeling of letters and logos.) Though the product was cheap, it not something I'd recommend.
Repurchase? No

Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache Hand Creme
Love. The. Smell. Even if this hand cream did absolutely nothing for my hands (though it does)I'd buy it. The smell is amazing. I have extremely sensitive skin (think of an ER visit when scented products are used) and hands are the only part of body that can handle scents. If I could use the scrub and body lotion I would. The perfume smells nothing like this though, at least from the sample I was given. I'm trying to use up a Ahava hand cream before I buy this one, but it smells more like a baby hooker than a ice cream shop from the 50s.
Repurchase? HELL YEAH

Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo
I love this shampoo, the smell makes your hair feel like its cleanse and revitalized. Since I have oily hair this has been one of my go to products. Sadly I've dyed my hair recently and now question whether this would be a product that would hurt the color (the bottle says color safe, but who believes the bottles?)
Repurchase? Not Sure

DiorShow Mascara
This is one of my favorite products of all time. I know its a love it or hate it product, I just happen to fall on the love it side. It makes my eyelashes look and feel thicker. I should mention that I bought this for my mother about 6 months ago and she hated it. So if you're looking for a mascara and want to try this one, trying to find a sample first might be a good choice.
Repurchase? Yes, as soon as I've gone though some of my 10+ unopened mascaras.

True Blue Spa Toe the Line (From Bath and Body Works)
I've had this product for some time now, and really have no opinion of it. I don't hate it or love it. Personally I think better products are out there, but if your feet stink the Tea Tree and Peppermint Oil might help that out.
Repurchase? No

Not Pictured:

Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask
I really enjoyed this product. Though it can be pricey, a little goes a long way. Again I have about 3 to 4 other hair masks to go though before I can compare the two.
Repurchase? Another time will purchase.

Giveaway Opinion

I need your opinion! How do you feel about a giveaway with very lightly used makeup products? Gross? It wouldn't be used mascara or lip gloss of course!

In & Out, End of August Edition

From here

 IN
Pumpkin Spice Latte - I cannot wait for Starbucks to bring these back. So close!
Cleaning out my collection - You might have noticed my somewhat large blog sale going on. I need to get rid of some of my makeup and nail polish. Even if I don't sell anything I'm going to just get rid of everything. I have too many things I never use.
Return of my favorite TV shows - I love the fall and the return of some old favorites make it better.

OUT
Control - remember when I said I was only allowed to buy 5 polishes by New Years? Yeah I failed that. I was having a bad day and bought 3 of the new Essie polishes and a couple new OPIs.
Blond hair - I am completely over my blond hair. I've had it all my life, well almost (I was a ginger for my first few years). I'm thinking of changing to an auburn red shade.
This weather - Really an earthquake and hurricane in one week? Come on Mother Nature!
My camera - Its dead right now, I need something new, but I have no idea which camera to get.

I'm hoping some kind Canadian makeup lovers will tell me the must haves. I have a few things on my list, but I don't want to miss out. Please share!!

Paris and Purse Clean Out

I recently bought a new purse, which means one thing, cleaning out another bag! Cleaning out a handbag always lead to a crazy amount of products that you didn't even realize you owned, yet along have had it with you for two weeks. I thought that someone might find it interesting some of the things I bring around. The sad thing is that this is only some of the products I had in my handbag. Hangs head in shame

These products were held in this cheap beauty. I got that bag for less than a dollar at Target. It's durable, which is the only thing I care about!

Peek inside!

 In no particular order:
Nars lipstick in Beautiful Liar
A random tissue
EOS lemon drop lip balm
Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme
MAC Impassioned
Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Jive (Australian brand)
EcoTools Retractable Kabuki
MAC MSF Natural
Clinique Fresh Watermelon
Buxom Big & Healthy Lipstick in London
MAC Kissable Lipcolour in So Vain and Vanity Fair
Dior Lip Glow
Korres Lip gloss in light purple
Buxom Lip gloss in Laura
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue purse spray
BareMinerals Mascara
Shiseido SPF 60 Face and Body Sunscreen

WOW That was more than I thought

Next comes my favorite product of the moment, Nars Pleasures of Paris palette. I've come to the conclusion that Nars makes the best shadows out there. Beats MAC, Chanel, Estee Lauder, Benefit, the whole bunch. Those eyeshadows are fabulously made, and so long lasting.

My camera broke so these photos were taken on my iPhone. Here's a link to much better swatches!!

Day dreaming!

Since entering the real world and the work world I've been trying to weed out some of unused wardrobe, and of course replace it with new pieces. I haven't had all of my stuff in one place for over 4 years. Which made me realized how much crap I've collected over the year. I might have 75 purses, but some are just not my style anymore. Not to mention, some are pretty poor quality. Now I have a love of quality and brand names. Here are some lovely bags I've been lusting over.

Balenciaga City Bag

Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene

This beautiful Givenchy bag

I love them all! However, I'm leaning towards the Louis Vuitton as my next big purchase. Ahh to dream!
