Everyday Eye.

 I love when you find a look that you want to wear everyday, this has been mine. I love the comfort of knowing something takes little time, but looks great. This is that look for me. 

I really need to learn how to take better pictures, I look completely out of it. Any advice? My eyebrows are also pretty awful.

Now I have oily lids and this combo last forever. I honestly want about 6 more of the Armani shadows. They are ridiculously pigmented as well. Its easy to say L-O-V-E.

Let me update you on my life. I am offically an adult. I just bought a new car, got a grown up job, and cut off 8-9 inches of my hair. Not to mention my 22nd birthday is tomorrow. I finally feel like I'm becoming a real person. Fortunately, or unfortunately, with this new grown up life I needed some new things in my life. My mission lately is to find more businessy clothes, including an overhaul of my wardrobe. This overhaul made me realize how I need a pair of comfortable, yet chic flats. I have a slew of heels, but not many flats. My flats today gave me about 8 blisters. My feet hate me. Do you guys have any recs? I'm thinking Tory Burch or saving for some Lanvins. Have you found super comfortable flats, if so please share, my feet need the love.

My life overhaul also made me realized how my foundation seems way too dark. I almost always buy the lightest shade, yet they never seem to match my skin tone. Have any of you other pale beauties out there experienced this prolem? Everyone claims MAC has the best range, but that's BS. Their foundations are too dark. The only brand I've found that matches my skin tone is Bobbi Brown. Anyone know any other brands good for pale skinned individuals? YSL is too bad, but mostly I just love the formula of Teint Resist, which is great for oily skin. More like amazing.

Finally, one of my birthday presents is Chanel Bronze Universal. Michele1218 mentioned that there was buzz going around that it was being discontinued and I checked. My Chanel person said they were, but its sold out everywhere. Since I spend too much money at Nordstrom I was able to order one of the last ones, or so I was told. When I get it, I'll try it out and add yet another review to the blogger world.

Chanel Graphite

I know I know! It's been far too long! Hopefully I'm back for good. 

Now onto my purchase. Chanel's Fall 2011 "It" polish, Graphite. Its take your breathe away pretty. Foil silver? Kinda. Holographic? Not really. Dupe to China Glaze's Jitterbug? From very far away maybe. Uniquely Chanel? HECK YES!

Its hard to explain a color this unique, though alllacqueredup.com described it the best as possible when they said it is a light charcoal foil glitter that has been warmed up with small gold flakes. At $25 for a bottle Chanel doesn't come cheap but they come with truly unique shades. Remember Jade? Nouvelle Vague? I wanted them, but didn't buy them! I still regret that to this day. I even thought of dropping $250 for Jade online. Thankfully I stopped myself. The point can still be made, these polishes become hard to get! I got mine about 2 hours after my store put them out. I could not be happier with my purchase! If you want I will take some swatches and post them tomorrow. Just let me know. 

In other news I finally got my hands on a nail polish rack! I was so excited! As I was putting the polishes on I realized I had about 50 to 60 too many! I was sickened by that thought. The rack holds about 100 polishes, and I was 60 over? Is there such thing as a NPA (Nail Polish Anonymous)? If so I need to join. That's why I decided to do my blog sale, I can get rid of a bunch of bottles. ( I even managed to find some more that I'll add soon!)

The space left, none, tells me I need to rid myself of more, I just can't imagine saying goodbye to any more of my babies. So I've decided to try to wear every color on there. Each color I use will get a tiny piece of duct tape put on top of the cap. Come 2012 the bottles without duct tape are gone!!! 

Anyone want to partupate in this journey? Let me know! Maybe we can spread the word and become like an NPA online! 

Also, Chanel Graphite marks number 2 in my nail polish ban, not bad in my humble opinion!

Crazy Over Buying Haul

I'm currently home right now for spring break, which means too much shopping. Now I normally don't buy this much stuff, but I'm giving up shopping for Lent and wanted to get everything out of the way before that ban goes into effect.

Urban Decay Naked Palette, Forever 21 Fake Lashes, and Jesse's Girl eye dust in Pink Glitz

I mentioned ordering the Naked Palette last week and I got it when I got home. I was over the moon. I ordered a couple other things, but didn't include them in this haul.
The fake lashes were just a random buy. I was at Forever 21 getting socks and these caught my eyes at the checkout counter.
The eye dust is just something I've been wanting to try, but can't find Jesse's Girl products near my school.

I got the crackle because I had been wanting some and thought now was the perfect time to get some for myself (I'm giving away another bottle in my giveaway). The For Audrey polish was just something my mother picked out for me.
I'm not allowed to burn candles at school so whenever I'm home I burn them constantly. I just needed more and want to try a bunch of different scents.

I was so happy to find the Viva Cyndi at my MAC counter near home. I want to get one before it was discontinued but it was sold out everywhere! The same with the kissable lipcolours from the Peacocky Collection.
I've been wanting the Chanel polish for a while but hadn't gotten around to it, but knew I probably wouldn't be able to get it after Easter. I love it, it's on my nails now.

The famed Tangle Teezer and Body Shop Body Butter in Coconut.

My hair has been failing out from stress and I hear the Tangle Teezer is great for keeping your hair healthy. So far, I'm not impressed or disappointed. My hair is still falling out.

MAC eyeshadows in Amber Lights, Embark and Ricepaper.

While at the MAC counter the MUA did my eyes in these shades and I just loved it. So far I'm impressed with the colors.

Bobbi Brown corrector.

I've been looking forward to getting the corrector for some time but wanted to make sure I got the right shade. I went to the Bobbi Brown and received the worse service of my life. I've never left a store/counter so angry and disappointed. I even emailed Bobbi Brown to tell them how disappointed I was. I got this online, but I don't think I'll be going back to Bobbi Brown any time soon.

Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache hand creme

This is my favorite purchase. I absolutely love the smell. I am constantly smelling my hands, people probably think I'm crazy. This stuff smells exactly like Pistachio ice cream. Yum.

I got one of the MAC start up kits from my MAC counter at Nordstrom. It included Prep and Prime for Lashes, Zoom Lash, Eye Makeup Remover, and eyeliner in Nightsky.

The eyeliner was pretty much the reason for me buying this. This is a re-promoted color from a past collection, but I bought it because it reminded me of an eyeliner from my past. I thought it was similar to my Toni and Tina eyeliner, but its really not. I don't have the eyeliner anymore to compare them, I'm not even sure the company is still around.

I got some other things that I just haven't gotten around to taking pictures of, not sure I will. Mostly its nail polish and random drugstore beauty products. Hope you enjoy!
